1. Acceptance
By visiting the MaciWatch website, applying for the beta, downloading the trial, or purchasing a license, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or the software.
If you accept on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.
2. License scope
MaciWatch is paid commercial software. Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the software on the devices and within the scope described in the licensing terms.
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, a personal license covers one user on the agreed number of Macs. Households, teams, and businesses should choose the matching license option.
3. Trial & payment
The trial gives you full or designated features for the trial period. Once the trial ends, continued use requires a valid license.
Final pricing, invoicing, refunds, and renewal rules will be clearly stated when purchasing opens. Statutory consumer rights are not unreasonably restricted by these terms.
4. Usage restrictions
Unless applicable law expressly permits it, or you have our prior written permission, you may not:
- copy, distribute, sell, rent, resell, or offer MaciWatch as a hosted service;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to reconstruct the source code, except where the law expressly allows;
- remove copyright, trademark, or other rights notices;
- circumvent license validation, trial limits, or technical protection measures;
- use the software for unlawful purposes, or interfere with other users, platforms, or network services.
5. Third-party services & content
MaciWatch's music features provide playback, control, and entry-point integration only. Third-party music platforms, accounts, memberships, catalog content, regional availability, and rights belong to their respective providers.
You must follow third-party platform terms and ensure you hold the rights to use the related content and accounts. Changes, restrictions, or discontinuations on their side may affect the corresponding features.
Apple, macOS, Apple Watch, and other third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. MaciWatch is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Apple Inc.
6. Intellectual property
The MaciWatch software, interface, icons, copy, website source, and visual system belong to the MaciWatch Authors or its licensors. The project is not released under an open-source license.
You retain all rights to the music, reminders, configurations, and other content you create. Processing it with the software does not transfer ownership to us.
7. Disclaimer
The software is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will be error-free, permanently available, or a fit for every use case.
OS versions, third-party APIs, music platform policies, permission settings, or network conditions may make some features unavailable. Please back up important data yourself.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss, business interruption, or other consequential losses.
For claims related to the software or website, our aggregate liability is capped at the amount you actually paid for the corresponding license, unless the law mandates otherwise.
This section does not exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Termination
You may stop using and delete the software at any time. If you breach these terms, your license may be terminated.
After termination, you must stop using the software commercially. Rights granted by law and provisions that should survive termination are unaffected.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product, the law, or the purchase flow changes. Material changes will be announced on the website or in the purchase flow, with the page date updated.
Continued use of the website or software after an update means you accept the revised terms.
